What’s In a Name?
Across history and cultures, the Aspen Tree has been a symbol of community, connection, peace, love, serenity, healing, and strength. From Greek Mythology to Christianity the Aspen Tree has had many spiritual meanings. While individual Aspen Trees can live up to 150 years, the entire Aspen Grove can live for thousands of years! In Utah there is an Aspen Grove estimated to be around 80,000 years old!
The Aspen Tree is deeply rooted to the earth and its community, and yet flexible, unique, and strong. If you remove an Aspen Tree, the roots will continue to grow, highlighting resilience and strength.
